We’re delighted to announce we’ve appointed Chris Dodd to lead our water environment team, advising clients on water management and environmental planning.

As climate change intensifies and environmental requirements become more demanding, overcoming complex site constraints and viability challenges requires forward-thinking solutions. Chris brings senior expertise in flood risk, sustainable drainage (SuDS), and environmental planning to Rappor at a critical time when managing water sustainably is increasingly central to creating more climate resilient infrastructure and a built environment that’s able to handle the future with confidence.

Chris Dodd, director of water environment, said:

“In an era of heightened environmental scrutiny, water management is becoming the defining factor in advancing modern development. Water is no longer a problem to be pushed to the edge of a site or placed underground, it’s an increasingly scarce resource that should be used to enhance developments and create better places.

“Pushing beyond traditional drainage design and integrating this thinking at Rappor allows us to de-risk complex sites while delivering infrastructure that genuinely improves the natural environment.”

Chris’ industry experience spans a portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and energy projects, including new settlements, Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, flood risk mitigation and river restoration schemes.
